I recently earned my undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, majoring in biological sciences. I'm currently in a gap year before entering graduate school. My interest in and aptitude for science have led me to pursue a career in dentistry. I am studying microbiology and biochemistry right now, and doing quite well in these subjects. My concentration has ranged from creative writing to biology. I am especially enthusiastic about tutoring AP biology and SAT math. I did very well on these exams, and I love sharing my insights with students who are studying for exams in these two areas! I have an extensive background in the French language, and I enjoy tutoring elementary and intermediate French.Every student's learning style is different, and I genuinely believe that no one style is inherently better than any other. I take pride in finding the simplest and most direct approach that's effective for the individual student. I've been a volunteer tutor over the years, and I use the techniques that I've learned to help students to organize their studying and to keep them motivated and thinking positively.When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy writing, painting, playing golf, exercising, running, drawing, and reading.
